Limited Lifetime Warranty

Limited 1 year warranty against finish failures. Hair oil, hair gels, body lotions, and some medications can have a chemical reaction to leather that can cause staining, fading, discolorations, and color changes, which are not covered under any warranty.

Lifetime Limited Warranty – Frame

The factory warrants to you, the original retail purchaser, protection against materials or workmanship for the useful life of the product, as long as it remains upholstered in the original covering and is used under normal conditions. The factory will, at its discretion, repair or replace the part that is defective. After the first year of use, the frame warranty covers replacement parts only and does not cover any associated labor or shipping costs.

5 Year Limited Warranty – 8-Way Hand Tied

The factory warrants to you, the original retail purchaser, protection against defective materials or workmanship for a period of five (5) years from the original date of purchase, based on reasonable use. The factory will, at its discretion, repair or replace the part of the mechanism that is defective. After the first year of use, the mechanism warranty covers replacement parts only and does not cover any associated labor or shipping cost.

Limited Lifetime Warranty – Cushion Cores

The factory warrants you, the original retail purchaser, protection against abnormal loss of resiliency for the useful life of the product, as long as it remains in the original covering and is used under normal conditions. Some softening and flattening of the foam core and fiber/feather wraps should be expected and will not be considered defective. After the first year of use, the cushion core warranty covers replacement cores only and does not cover any associated labor or shipping costs.

1-year Limited Warranty- Filling Material

The factory warrants to you, the original retail purchaser, protection against defective materials or workmanship of the inside back filler, padding and other filling materials for a period of one (1) year from the date of original retail purchase. Compression of filling materials with use is normal and should not be considered loss of resiliency.

5-Year Limited Warranty- Reclining Mechanisms

The factory warrants to you, the original retail purchaser, protection against defective materials or workmanship for a period of five (5) years from the original date of purchase, based on reasonable use. The factory will, at its discretion, repair or replace the part of the mechanism that is defective. After the first year of use, the mechanism warranty covers replacement parts only and does not cover any associated labor or shipping cost.

3- Year Limited Warranty- Power Recliner

The factory warrants to you, the original retail purchaser, protection against a defective power recline mechanism for a period of three (3) years from the date of original retail purchase. The factory will, at its discretion, repair or replace the part of the mechanism that is defective. After the first year of use, the mechanism warranty only covers replacement parts and does not cover any associated labor or shipping costs.

1-Year Limited Warranty- Battery Pack (Power Recliner Option)

The factory warrants to you, the original retail purchaser, protection against a defective battery pack associated with the power recliner option for a period of one (1) year from the original date of purchase. The mechanism warranty only covers replacement parts and does not cover any associated labor or shipping costs. Battery packs recharge in 8 hours, have approximately 200 full cycles per charge with approximately 400 recharge cycles. These can retro-fit to past motors and control boxes (cable needed).

Service

If a defect is found in a product covered by this warranty, Wellington’s must be notified and together with the factory that produces this product will determine at their opinion if replacement or repair will be an option and covered under this warranty. Wellington’s reserves the right to arrange a local repair. The cost of packing and shipping to and from the factory is not covered by this warranty unless expressly arranged in writing.

To act on this claim, you must have: A dated receipt and be the original owner of the product in question.
