Brooklyn- South American hides that are embossed to create a consistent grain. There are even color tones throughout each hide and very durable with a nice hand. Charleston- South American hides that are corrected to display a thick uniform grain. Considered durable under normal use. Will soften with use. Columbus- Well protected hides of South American origin. Featuring a silky hand with a subtle two tone that provides depth and character.

Brussels- A top grain leather from Uruguay. Hand rubbed to create a tri-tone effect. Considered durable and serviceable under normal usage. Monterey- South American hides, well protected with a top coat that has stain protection. Considered a matte finish, but I see a slight patina. Nassau- These hides have a tipping effect. The pigmented top coat is considered very durable. Providence- A well protected top grain leather from South America. Consistent color and considered durable. Great hand. Texas- Full top grain water buffalo. These hides are from South Eastern Asia. This leather has a burst effect from adding wax and oil during tanning. Durable under normal conditions. Vintage- A rustic look and feel. An old world aged leather with a buttery hand. This leather improves with age as it continues to distress.

Albuquerque- Domestic hides finished in Korea. A full top grain that is hand rubbed to create a two tone effect. Offering a lot of depth and dimension. Considered durable. Key West- Full top grain hides from the UK. These hides are air dried naturally allowing them to be classified as heavy weights. A buttery soft hand and tipped surface make this an excellent choice. Leisure- Full top grain domestic hides finished in Korea. Even coloration and very durable. Wonderful smooth, soft hand. Maui- A full top grain drum dyed leather from Argentina. A cloud effect is created by applying color pigments with a roller. Great for high traffic. Outback- A distressed worn appearance. Wax is added to create the broken appearance and then brushed to add a dusty surface illusion. Panama- Embossed with a crocodile print. Three different dyes are applied to create this pearlessant surface. These hides originate in Uruguay. Raleigh- A full top grain leather. Hides used are both from America and Germany. Two colors of dye are used to create variations and depth. Well protected, great for high traffic areas. St. Thomas- Domestic hides that are finished in Mexico. The color is fairly consistent with a slight luster. Considered durable, however strong staining agents may cause discoloration. Treasure- A full top grain from Italy. This leather features metallic specks applied to the surface for a subtle pearlessant effect. A durable choice. Whimsical- A full top grain leather tanned in Asia. The surface has a knap feel like a suede. Three colors of dye are blended together to create this tri-tone look. Expect extreme color variations throughout your furniture.

Belmont- Drum dyed full top grain hides from Europe. A very light micro pigment has been added. Durable and very soft hand. Buckshot- English bull hides that are finished in Italy. The hides are infused with waxes and oils then embossed with a wormy chestnut pattern. Oil based spills will darken the hides and scratches will remain. Chatham- A full grain aniline leather. English bull hides are used for our Chatham pattern. Natural oils and a wax top coat create a pull effect and sheen to the surface. Denver- A full top grain leather of European origin. Oils and waxes are applied to create a slight burst effect adding depth and dimension. Joplin- Premium top grain cowhide. Hand antiquing creates this unique blend of colors and a shinny surface. Mardi Gras- English bull hides that are full top grain. These hides are sprayed with metallic highlights. This offers interest and protection. Trending- A luxurious leather featuring a soft and supple feel. Trending features European hides that are finished in Italy. An excellent choice for high traffic areas.

Grade 5 Leathers

Bayou- These hides are from northern Europe and tanned in Italy. Stamped with a reptile print then hand wiped with the darker color, a wax is then applied to highlight the tips and add interest. Hollywood- An eco-friendly product. Full top grain cowhides are vegetable tanned which causes a slight crackle effect. These domestic hides have a patina finish. New England- English bull hides tanned in Italy. A complex leather that undergoes five separate finishing processes, one is hot rolling wax and pattern embossing into the surface. Each hide is unique. Blot dry spills.

Africa- Brazilian hides that are tanned with vegetable extracts. Dyes are applied by hand then a clear coat of polyurethane is applied to seal the surface. Amazon- Raised and tanned in Brazil, these hides are embossed with a faux crocodile print. These hides are tanned with vegetable extracts. Jasper- Vegetable tanned Brazilian hides. The two toned effect is hand applied. Finished with a slight patina finish.

Specialty Leathers

Cayman- A full top grain, uncorrected, drum dyed aniline leather. The pattern is embossed with heat and pressure. A dark pigment is hand applied to the surface to create dimension. Hides are of European origin and tanned and finished in Italy. Everglades- A full top grain aniline leather. The hides are chrome tanned which enhances the embossing. The color is hand applied in four steps and then a clear top coat is added for protection. Jefferson- A full top grain uncorrected, drum dyed aniline leather. The pattern is embossed on the surface using heat and pressure. Pigment is then hand applied to the surface to create definition and dimension. The hides are of German origin and finished in New York. Monterey- A full top grain leather that is embossed. Two colored pigmented stains are hand applied to the surface to add interest. A top coat is then applied for protection. Considered durable and serviceable under normal use, however strong staining agents may cause discoloration. Savannah- Savannah is a full top grain aniline dyed leather. The surface is embossed and a two toned pigment is hand applied. Hides are of European origin and are tanned and finished in Italy. Verona- A full top grain aniline dyed leather that has multiple layers of stains applied by hand. A clear top coat is then applied and created the glazing on the surface. Hides are of European origin and are finished in Italy.

We Love our new Barlow leather sofa. It is stunning and sits so nice. The pure aniline leather has so much character. You can tell how high the quality is from the leather to the buttons. The leather smells so good and feels so rugged and durable.

The swivel rocker recliner chairs are great, comfortable and I love the feel of the leather.

Fast, easy ordering process, very exacting in keeping with the custom-made nature of the products. I was kept informed of the status of the order throughout the process. This was a great experience.

It is a pleasure to deal with Wellington. They know their products, follow the order process to delivery completion and in our situation pushed the delivery up to meet a tight schedule.

We were hesitant to purchase two Richardson couches online, but everyone at Wellington's made the process easy. They sent us leather samples, advised on the best options for pets, and walked us through all the choices. Honestly, we expected the couches to cost more. They are beautiful and well made. After seven months, you can't see a sign of wear (or dog nails!). We are telling all our friends that Wellington's is the place to go for leather furniture.
